इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने निकाह हलाला की आड़ में रेप, गैंगरेप और POCSO जैसे गंभीर अपराधों में दर्ज FIR रद्द करने से इनकार किया। कोर्ट ने कहा कि धार्मिक परंपरा की आड़ में किए गए अपराधों पर केवल आपराधिक कानून लागू होगा।
